Caduceus Pin
Software/Medium: ZBrush, Keyshot, 3D printing
Reference/Source: Caduceus Clay (Critical Role)
Project Type: Independent (team – partner printed)
This project was a learning experience in many ways – it allowed me to tackle a wide range of new techniques (procedurally placed topography w/ randomization, custom curve & IMM brushes, woodgraining, fabric texturing, and some hard-surface work) along with learning a new rendering program, Keyshot, where I created a custom material and scene setup. I didn’t have very clear reference images to work from, so I took some liberties with designing and re-arranging some of the details.
I sculpted the full piece, including making all of the vine/leaf/flower brushes from scratch, rendered it, sent it off to my partner for 3D resin printing, and then did the final weathering/finishing of the physical pin.

Beau Badge
Software/Medium: ZBrush, Keyshot, 3D printing
Reference/Source: Beauregard (Critical Role)
Project Type: Independent (team – partner printed)
This piece was primarily practice in hard-surface modeling and creating vector text shapes/converting them to 3D. It was also my first foray into Keyshot materials and rendering.
I sculpted the full piece, rendered it, sent it off to my partner for 3D resin printing, and then did the final weathering/finishing of the physical badge while my partner made the tassel.
